We have recently relocated our Wordpress Hosting to Wordpress Hosting Australia & NZ and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks to Alan and the Team it was the most seamless transition I have ever experienced and the assistance that they offered, and followed through with, was invaluable. On the day before we moved across I had just received notification that some of my emails were not being received due to the existing Host experiencing problems with SPAM running through their email servers resulting in them being blacklisted, I had an urgent meeting and didn’t want to miss any of my emails. I also wanted a cost effective solution to my webpage hosting requirements. 5 minutes on the phone with Alan at Wordpress Hosting Australia & NZ meant that when I returned an hour later from my meeting it was all done….just like that….still can’t believe it and the ongoing support has been fantastic….NOT A PROBLEM!!! Thanks Guys keep up the good work you’ve got my vote!!!!

The Living Supply Chain
Today’s Supply Chain is a living, breathing organism; each step (cell) inter-dependent on the other steps within the network. At no time in history has this inter-dependency been greater than in the current Global Economic Framework. The Supply Chain Industry is always looking for ways to become more cost effective. A way of achieving this is to improve systems & control over an area which historically has created financial hardship to organisations within this industry. Pallets & other Returnable Assets impact on every aspect within the Supply Chain. The right Returnable Asset Management solutions and a spirit of mutuality & co-operation within this industry can provide unprecedented opportunities to significantly reduce these costs and generate additional revenue in nearly every aspect of Supply Chain Managers operations. A spirit of mutuality and co-operation can reverse the adverse control & financial impact created by the non-cooperation and division practiced in the past. We invite you to join this group to share your experiences, concerns, ideas and suggestions as to how we can assist each other improve this previously understated and underestimated area within the Supply Chain Network http://www.linkedin.com/e/vgh/2149281/

Pallet GroupFollowing an article in our December Priority Report & various member updates two senior Chep executives approached the VTA to discuss our problems. It was a very forthright meeting with Chep advising that none of the problems were “Chep” issues – we advised that following a meeting with the ACCC the VTA was inclined to develop a “Code of Conduct” particularly to address the “power players” in the industry, particularly the 3 major retailers who make their own rules . We arranged a meeting with the VTA Pallet Group to confer further whether they want to go down the track of a “Code of Conduct”.The Pallet Group met with the ACCC to discuss the draft Code of Practice. The VTA is continuing with this proposal – letters have been sent to Chep and Loscam regarding our issues. We have also sent letters to Coles and Woolworths seeking their comments on pallet transfer, delay days and their policies on overdue documentation………read more http://www.vta.com.au/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=Wmn7Nv1kPlE%3D&tabid=1478&mid=3826
