Bunnings Owes $11m For Pallets
According to The Age, Bunnings have been ordered to pay CHEP over $11 million for lost daily hire charges. Does this mean that now since CHEP have identified that Bunnings actually had these pallets in their possession that any pallets “lost” by Suppliers & Transport companies to Bunnings, through the inability of Bunnings to transfer or exchange pallets, and subsequently had to pay compensation to CHEP for “lost pallets” now have redress to recover those compensation costs from CHEP ?http://www.theage.com.au/business/bunnings-owes-11m-for-pallets-20100511-uuy8.html
